<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor improved to input characters by controlling the operation of the main device to match the operation of a remote control used to input characters to the main device. SOLUTION: The information processor 1 automatically operates the software keyboard when a character input mode is selected in a remote control 10 which has no character input keys, but does not operate the software keyboard when a character input mode is selected in a remote control 20 which has character input keys. Accordingly, it is not necessary to operate the software keyboard or to finish its operation when inputting characters, resulting in its improved operation.</p> |
