PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe guard which is fixed to a hot air blowing-out port of a hot air heater showing a high temperature so as to prevent a user from touching a high temperature segment. SOLUTION: An air flow is formed in a hot air flow passage 2 within a frame 1 by a convection fan 3, calorie generated by a heat source within the frame 1 is blown out of a hot air blowing-out port 4, and at the same time a louver 5 forming a flow of hot air along a floor surface of a room is arranged at this hot air blowing-out port 4 and a safe guard 6 formed by wire material or a porous plate is arranged in front of the louver 5. Control plates 7 for restricting a flow of air toward the side portions of the frame 1 are arranged at both sides of the hot air blowing-out port 4 of the front surface of the frame 1, the safe guard 6 is continuous with the front part of each of the control plates 7, the control plates 7 guide hot air blown out of the louver 5 to the front part of each of the control plates 7, thereby the safe guard 6 can be fixed near the louver 5.
