<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerated pulp separator capable of collecting pulp as the main feedstock and contaminants including polymers, coating paper materials and heat seal parts through efficiently separating them from each other. SOLUTION: This regenerated pulp separator works as follows: feedstocks continuously fed into the respective front stages of treatment chambers 2a, 2b and 2c and then transferred successively into rear-stage treatment chambers while opening/beating them with the corresponding opening cylinders 3a, 3b and 3c, the feedstocks are separated into pulp and the other contaminants based on specific gravity differences by the aid of suction airflow subjected to the upper parts of the respective treatment chambers, and only the pulp is separated and collected by the aid of suction airflow via the respective upper parts of the treatment chambers 2a, 2b and 2c, while the contaminants are allowed to fall by their own weights, discharged and separated via separatory lattice members 4a, 4b and 4c out of the treatment chambers and then collected.</p> |
