PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To filter rainwater by a simple and economical means. SOLUTION: A leader 1 through which rainwater flows is separated into an upper leader 1A and a lower leader 1B and a space 2 is formed between these upper and lower leaders and the space 2 forms a housing space for a filter container 3. The filter container 3 is an exclusive container, wherewise can be formed by cutting a PET bottle at a specified position. The spout 3a is turned down and the filter container 3 is housed in the hollow space 2. Before housing, a filter medium 4 is disposed in the filter container 3. A net bag or waste lady stockings can be used for the filter medium. When a rubber spacer member 5 is attached to the upper end of lower leader 1B, the filter container 3 can be arranged stably in the hollow space 2.
