PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for an electronic apparatus wherein shortcircuitting which is to be caused by foreign objects, bags, etc., which invade together with air from exhaust ports and suction ports. SOLUTION: A cover 120 is provided with the exhaust ports 120a and the suction ports 120b for natural cooling. A shielding plate 150 is arranged inside the cover 120. The shielding plate 150 is arranged so as to face the cover 120 interposing a prescribed gap 151 and provided with the exhaust ports 150a and the suction ports 150b. Insecticide 152 is spread on a surface of the shielding plate 150. An aperture 153 for discharging foreign objects which invade together with air from the exhaust ports 120a and the suction ports 120b of the cover 120 into the gap 151 is installed between the shielding plate 150 and a bottom plate 115. An aperture 154 which is used for exhausting heat in equipment via the gap 151 is installed between the shielding plate 150 and a ceiling board 114.
