PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation timing control method which is capable of canceling the amount of slipping of recording paper in picking up the toner image on a photoreceptor and does not require exact input monitor and control like with an ordinary resist sensor as the method simply involves rough matching of the timing for writing. SOLUTION: This image formation timing control method for the image forming device for controlling the cross relation of recording paper transportation timing and image formation timing consists in starting the imaged forming operation by exposure to a photoreceptor on the basis of the detection timing by a sensor which is disposed in a paper transporting path and detects the front end of the recording paper and starting the operation of a resist roller so as to match the timing at which the recording paper arrives at the transfer position from the resist roller which is disposed in front of the transfer position and corrects the skew of the recording paper and the completion timing of the image forming operation. |
