PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the combustion chamber of combustion equipment by making secondary flames shorter in length and, to suppress the occurrence of NOx by supplying secondary air to the vicinities of primary flames and, in addition, to prevent the deformation or injury of the periphery of the burner head of the equipment and the occurrence of back fire. SOLUTION: This combustion equipment is provided with a fuel pipe 13 which supplies fuel to a vaporizing chamber 1 that vaporizes liquid fuel, an air nozzle which supplies primary air to the chamber 1, and a burner head 4 having burner ports 5 which form the primary flames 6 by blowing out a mixed gas of the vaporized fuel and primary air. The equipment is also provided with an ignition plug 14 which ignites the mixed gas blown out from the ports 5, a flame holding ring 15 surrounding the primary flames 6, and a secondary air guide plate 11 which guides secondary air 10 flowing from a secondary air flow passage 9 to the primary flames 6. In addition, the equipment is also provided with air outlets 12 for the secondary air 10 near the primary flames 6. All or part of the air outlets 12 is positioned lower than the upper end of the flame-holding ring 15.
