<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate transmission channel distortion, synchronization time deviation, frequency deviation, and temporal frequency response fluctuation due to phase noise so as to improve the demodulation characteristics. SOLUTION: A pilot symbol detection section 261 of the receiver receiving an OFDM signal detects a pilot symbol. A 1st pilot symbol transmission channel frequency response calculation section 62 obtains a 1st pilot symbol transmission channel frequency response, and a 2nd pilot symbol transmission channel frequency response calculation section 63 obtains a 2nd pilot symbol transmission channel frequency response. Moreover, a compensation vector calculation section 64 obtains a compensation vector through straight line approximation from the 1st and 2nd pilot symbol transmission channel frequency responses. A frequency response compensation section 65 compensates the fluctuation in the frequency response of the subcarrier of a data symbol on the basis of the obtained compensation vector.</p> |
