A spring (60) has one end electrically coupled to the arm piece within the sleeve and its other end coupled to the arm head by an electrically non-conductive hook through a dielectric member (50). - DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An inner conductor (81) of a coaxial feeder (80) is connected to an end of the spring, and an outer conductor (82) of the coaxial feeder is connected to the retainer, the retainer being coupled to the vehicle body to achieve an earthing effect. The wiper arm may also be coated with conductors such as copper, silver or aluminum to increase antenna efficiency and improve reception of electromagnetic waves.
