PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control capability for freezing temperature in a control device of a very low temperature freezer for achieving very low temperature on a cold head. SOLUTION: In a very low temperature freezer (R), there are provided a first temperature sensor (46) as freezing temperature detection means for detecting freezing temperature of an article to be cooled by a cold head (32) and a second temperature sensor (47) as turbulence temperature detection means on an outer periphery of the surface of a casing (5) in a compressor C. On the basis of temperature detected by both temperature sensor (46) (47) PID control circuit (48) and a turbulence control circuit (49) calculate input voltage, which input voltage is outputted from a power supply circuit (50) to the freezer.
