PURPOSE: To generate a model like the plane picture of an animation, the outline of which is drawn, at high speed. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the image processor for generating a polygon model with computer graphics in a three-dimensional coordinate space, a first model turning the normal vector of a polygon outside and a second model including the first model and turning the normal vector of the polygon inside are used as an integrated model. Thus, corresponding to the direction of the normal vector of the polygon, it is determined whether or not the polygon is to be displayed in hidden surface processing. Namely, when the normal vector of the polygon includes the component of a viewpoint direction, the polygon is displayed and when the normal vector of the polygon includes a component opposed to a viewpoint, the polygon is not displayed. Therefore, the second model is expressed as the outline of the first model.
