PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength against impact load. SOLUTION: In this antenna for an electric wave clock, flanges 23, 24 are formed respectively on both ends of a rod-shaped core material 22, a coil 26 is wound on the core material 22 between the flanges, and both end parts of the coil are connected to a connection pin 27 erected on the flange. The core material and the first and second flanges are formed integrally from a first composite material of ferrite, or metal powder or flake and plastics, and the first composite material includes the power or the flake by 40 wt.% or higher and less than 95 wt.% and is nonconductive. The core material 22 is formed into a hollow, and a magnetic member 31 is inserted therein. The magnetic member 31 may be formed from a second composite material, including the powder or the flake by 60 wt.% or more and less than 99.5 wt.%. Otherwise, the core material may be formed from a nonconductive third composite material and the first and second flanges may be formed from a highly magnetic fourth composite material, and the core material may be formed along the circumferential face of the frame part of the clock. |
