PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient settlement terminal device which is provided with both a settling means and a notifying function. SOLUTION: This settlement terminal 1 is provided with a settlement processing means 17a for transmitting individual information recorded on a credit card C to a settlement center 2 and performing settlement, and a security controlling part 17b for detecting signals from an infrared sensor 101, an opening/closing sensor 102, a fire sensor provided in stores where the terminal 1 is used and a signal from a magnetic sensor 19 provided in the terminal 1 and transmitting alarm information to the monitor sensor 4 of a security company. Therefore, handling is very easy when the terminal 1 is manufactured, used and maintained.
