PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that is provided with communication channels and conducts reception and transfer of an image in parallel by using different channels so as to reduce a time required for image transfer. SOLUTION: The communication terminal is provided with communication channel accommodation sections (La-Ln), a transfer destination number storage section (5a), automatic dial sections (2a-2n), and an image memory (4). An image received through a 1st channel is stored in the image memory (4), and when the data quantity reaches a prescribed page number or a prescribed data quantity, and a 2nd channel is used and the automatic dial sections (2a-2n) dial a transfer destination number to start transfer of the image stored in the image memory (4).
