PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify bearing housing of a motor and to make thin a device that uses the bearing housing. SOLUTION: In a capstan motor 20 wherein a multipole-magnetized magnet 35 is mounted at one end of a holding section that rotatively holds a shaft 23 and held by a first yoke 32, wherein a plurality of coils 31 disposed opposing to the magnet 35 is mounted at another end of the holding section and wherein a predetermined magnetic circuit is formed by facing a second yoke 28 to the magnet 35 interposing the coils 31, a thrust bearing 29b is mounted to an end face of the opposite side where the magnet 35 and the like are disposed, and a radial direction of the shaft 23 is held by a plurality of radial bearings 25, 26. The capstan motor 20 is also configured such that the edge of the radial bearing 26 is positioned in the mid of the yokes 32, 31 and the fixing of the shaft 23 to the first yoke 32 is conducted only at an interior of the first yoke 32.
