<p>A method and system for generating a search on a computer network (15), such as the Internet, is disclosed. An http-client (10) generated a search request from a user at a selected location via a first network. Location data (50) is determined for a mobile telephone (35) at the selected location via a second network. The search request and the location data (50) for the selected location are forwarded to a server (20) wherein search results are generated based upon the search request and the location data (50). The search results are returned to the http-client (10) for display to a user.</p> |
