The storage includes a set of discoidal elements or partitions (2) parallel to one another forming a cylindrical body (1) that is totally open and has a horizontal longitudinal axis. The partitions or elements (2) define slots (3) for the coins (4) coming from the validation/selection device (5). The coins (4) are supported on a false bottom (6) that envelops a given angle of the bottom perimeter of the storage that forms the cylindrical body (1). Said false bottom (6) has a slot (8) so that when the false bottom is rotated, a coin (4) drops into the collection deposit. Rotation in opposite direction of said false bottom (6) causes the remaining coins to drop into the coin return box.
