The diagnosis and therapy table consists of a lying surfce (1) with holes for the face-down patients breast and uses a swivel mechanism (3) to swing the table from initial vertical into horizontal final position. A tread system (5) takes the feet of the patient ready for the face-down position as required of diagnosis. The tread can be releasably fixed relative to the table surface so the interval between tread and breast hole can be adjusted individually. The swivel moves the table continuously between start and end positions and the holed part of the surface should form a module separable from the remainder of the surface (1) to allow for differentially diametered breast hole modules to be fitted as needed.
