The present invention relates to a method of casting a base plate for a fixture base by filling a mould or form containing a number of adjustable elements with suitable casting compound in which the form is prepared in that at least a number of the elements are displaced in relation to one another to the desired position and fixed in the desired position in that mutually adjacent elements are urged towards one another for the creation of a cavity in the form for filling by means of the casting compound and, after setting thereof, realising the base plate and a number of elevations extending upwards from the base plate, e.g. columns, posts, blocks etc., in a suitable casting compound, and a device for carrying out the method including a formwork box with a number of adjustable elements, the elements being displaceable mutually independently of one another to the desired position and being fixable in the desired position by clamping together between opposing walls of the formwork box for the creation of the space which is to be filled with casting compound and thereby a base plate for a fixture base and a number of elevations upwardly extending from the base plate, e.g. columns, posts, blocks etc., after filling of the formwork box with a casting compound. |
