In this case, the discharge control device 16 controls the discharge of game balls of a discharge device 14 based on control information and abnormality observing information from the game control device 17, and at the same time, stops the discharge of the game balls at the time of an abnormality. The memory retaining means 35 can store and retain the control information and the abnormality observing information in the game control device 17 and the discharge control device 16 when a power source of the game machine is interrupted. In such a game machine, a discharge restricting means which sets the abnormality observing information being stored and retained by the memory retaining means 35 to be an abnormality confirmed state by the time when the advance of the game is started after turning on the power source, when the power source is interrupted.
