PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tenter clip and a thermoplastic resin sheet capable of obtaining the sheet having uniform physical properties along a lateral direction, excellent thermal dimension stability, mechanical characteristics and good flatness with good productivity. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet comprises the steps of stretching, heat treating or cooling the sheet in the tenter together with the tenter clip S in which a mechanism of a clip gripper is movable in the gripper and a film is movable in a longitudinal direction and the tenter clip D not moving a film in a longitudinal direction in the clip gripper.
