PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dentifrice composition for remarkably preventing decrease in residual ratio of a hydroxy-2-pyridone derivative or its salt with time. SOLUTION: This dentifrice composition is characterized by using both the hydroxy-2-pyridone derivative or its salt and inorganic powder having >=0.05 mmol/g acidity as an abrasive.
