PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs and sizes in a tensioning device for a drive belt in a power transmission mechanism using a drive motor and a drive belt. SOLUTION: A carriage motor 21 is installed in a motor plate 26 to compose a motor Assy 29. A motor turning axis 23 is supported pivotally by a support member 24. The support member 24 houses internally a plate part 27 which is formed to protrude vertically from a frame 5, and a tension spring 25 is installed between the plate part 27 and the support member 24. The motor Assy 29 and the support member 24 are integrally relatively moved with the frame 5 and give a tension to the drive belt which is engaged with a drive pulley 22.
