PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-dispersible-pressure-sensitive-adhesive-composition having good flexibility enough to satisfy follow-up properties following a coarse face and good mechanical strength, exhibiting good adhesive force with excellent cohesive force hardly suffering from changes with the lapse of time, excellent in anchoring properties in a support, dispensing with the use of an emulsifier and therefore reduced in staining to an adherend by residual adhesives or an emulsifier. SOLUTION: The water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises a water dispersion of a urethane-acrylic polymer comprising 10-90 wt.% of a urethane component composed of a polyol and a polyisocyanate and 90-10 wt.% of an acrylic component and having in its molecule a neutralized carboxyl group, wherein the polyol in the urethane component comprises a high-molecular weight polyol having a number-average mol.wt. of 1,000-4,000 and a low-molecular weight polyol having a number-average mol.wt. of less than 1,000.
