PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable nurse call device equipped with measures which can detect disconnection inexpensively. SOLUTION: The nurse call device is composed of a nurse call switch 1 and an alarm circuit 2. When the nurse call switch 1 is turned off, an electric current is not passed through the relay 21 within the alarm circuit 2, the relay point of contact 22 is closed, and a nurse call signal is emitted from the buzzer 23, for example, as Figure 1 shows.
