<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently expressing in an active state by using a baculovirus expression system a protein selected from a membrane binding enzyme, a substrate for the enzyme, an activating factor for the enzyme, a membrane binding transport protein, a channel protein, a structural protein of the membrane, an adhesion related protein, a protein related to an antigenic presentation or a protein related to the formation of a high-order structure of the protein. SOLUTION: This method for expressing the protein selected from the membrane-binding enzyme, the substrate for the enzyme, the activating factor for the enzyme, the membrane binding type transport protein, the channel protein, the structural protein of the membrane, the adhesion related protein, the protein related to an antigenic presentation or the protein related to the formation of high-order structure of the protein in a germinated baculovirus released from a host infected with at least one species of a recombinant baculovirus containing a gene capable of encoding the protein in a method for culturing the host and thereby expressing the protein.</p> |
