PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating razor by which the keenness of the edge can be improved by reducing the cut resistance of the hair by oscillating the razor blade or the skin vibrating plate relatively to the hair. SOLUTION: The oscillating razor is provided with a head 101 in which blades 103 and 104 for cutting the hair by sliding their blade edges against the skin in a perpendicular direction to their edges are placed, a grip 102 one end of which is coupled to the head 101 and an oscillating device for applying oscillation to the blades 103 and 104. In this case, at least one of the blades 103 and 104 is oscillated relatively to the hair.
