PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonator, which is miniaturized can be made reduced in height and reduces loss at low cost, a filter and a high-frequency module using the same. SOLUTION: A resonator 10 is provided with a dielectric substrate 12. If the wavelength of a frequency to be used is defined asλ, the thickness of the dielectric substrate is thenλ/4. A throughhole 14 is formed on the dielectric substrate 12. An internal electrode16 is formed by filling the through-hole 14 with metal paste or the like. A ground electrode is formed on one side of the dielectric substrate 12 and connected with the internal electrode 16. On the other side of the dielectric substrate 12, strip lines 20 and 22 are formed separated from the through-hole 14.
