PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic pressure control device for a vehicular continuously variable transmission, capable of conducting fast-filling to a hydraulic cylinder at traveling of a vehicle after stopping for a long period, without impairment of the durability of a power transmitting member. SOLUTION: When an ignition switch operation determining means 90 determines that an ignition switch 69 is operated to an on side, hydraulic oil is filled fast to an input side hydraulic cylinder 42c by a fast filling controlling means 104. Thereby, as compared with a conventional case uniformly conducting fast-filling to a hydraulic cylinder whenever vehicular speed becomes not more than a specified value or a vehicle stops, the frequency of fast-filling is substantially lowered. So that, fast-filling to the input side hydraulic cylinder 42 can be conducted at traveling of a vehicle after stopping for a long time without impairment of the durability of a transmission belt (power transmitting member) 48. |
