PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply improve the convenience of a user by realizing multifunctioning with the minimum input keys at the time of miniaturization. SOLUTION: This portable terminal is provided with an LCD display screen 2 arranged on the operation face of a case body for displaying information corresponding to a communicating state, a main soft key 3 arranged at the lower part of the LCD display screen 2 capable of performing a rotating operation and a pressurizing operation to the direction of the display screen, and a second sub-soft key 4B and a first sub-soft key 4A arranged at the right and left sides of the main soft key 3 for respectively performing pressurizing operations. Then, a function whose use frequency is the highest is assigned to the main soft key 3, and functions whose use frequencies are the highest next to that of the function of the main soft key 3 are assigned to the first sub-soft key 4A and the second sub-soft key 4B in each communicating state, and each function is displayed at positions corresponding to the main soft key 3, the first sub-soft key 4A, and the second sub-soft key 4B on the LCD displays screen 2 as a main function icon and sub-function ions. |
