TRANSMITTER AND GAIN COMPENSATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform gain compensation with high accuracy with a small amount of operation. SOLUTION: A code multiplexing part 102 generates code multiplex data by multiplexing diffusion data outputted from diffusing parts 101-1 to 101-n. A reference data generating part 103 generates redundant data on which information is not superimposed and in which transmission power is constant. A data attaching part 105 attaches the redundant data to the code multiplex data. A variable amplifying part 108 variably amplifies the transmission power of the code multiplex data and the redundant data and obtains transmission output data. A differential value calculating part 112 calculates the difference value between a target amplitude value based on the redundant data and the redundant data part of the transmission output data. A gain controlling part 113 generates a gain control signal on the basis of the differential value and controls the gain of the part 108.
