MAP DISPLAY AND AUTOMOBILE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display and an automobile navigation system which enable users to intuitively grasp information by synthesizing and displaying various kinds of information changing in real time onto maps. SOLUTION: In this map display, a communication part 7 receives various kinds of information from an external system, and a map data-synthesizing part 4 synthesizes an object representing various kinds of information in a map data space on the basis of map data stored in a map data-storing part 3, information from the communication part 7 and an input part 2 and corresponding object model presentation information stored in an object model presentation information-storing part 6. A display device 5 displays synthesized map information.
