PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable dispersion method with slight unevenness in a process for dispersing an organic silver salt used in a heat developable photosensitive material or in a process for preparing a fluid, and to provide a stable heat developable photosensitive material with slight unevenness by the dispersion method. SOLUTION: In the objective method for producing the heat developable photosensitive material, a process for dispersing an organic silver salt or a process for preparing a fluid is carried out while using 3.3-15 mass % binder based on the amount of the organic silver salt.
