<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a piston for a compressor at the lowest possible weight and cost. SOLUTION: This piston 14 is provided with a body member 125 integrally provided with an engagement part 70 engaging with a reciprocative drive device and a bottomed cylindrical part 120, and a closing member 122 for closing the opening of the bottomed cylindrical part 120. An axially extending center shaft part 132 is integrally formed at the center part of the bottom face 130 of the bottomed cylindrical part 120. The bottomed cylindrical part 120 is connected to the closing member 122 at the center shaft part 132. A fitting hole 136 is formed at the center of the tip part of the central shaft part 132, and a fitting projection part 144 is formed at the center part of an end face 142 of the disc-like part 140 of the closing member 122. The fitting projection part 144 is pressed into the fitting hole 136 down to the depth where the end face 142 of the disc-like part 140 abuts on the opening side end face 150 of the bottomed cylindrical part 120 and the tip surface of the center shaft part 132. The outside diameter of the disc-like part 140 is set smaller than that of the bottomed cylindrical part 120, so that the circumferential surface 154 of the bottomed cylindrical part 120 of the piston 14 slides on the inside surface of a cylinder bore.</p> |
