PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer with high yield which suppresses the temperature rise in operation. SOLUTION: A stacked piezoelectric transformer has an interval D of 0.5 mm or more between external electrodes 3 and 5, which are provided on an input part 6 and an output part 7 that constitute a piezoelectric transformer 1 which uses resonance in the lengthwise direction.
