PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience while securing safety in the case when a gas consumer is using a gas appliance at the time when the condition of a battery voltage drop is detected. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a battery power supply means 2, a cutoff means 3, a flow rate detecting means 5 detecting the flow rate of gas, a voltage detecting means 10 monitoring the supply voltage of the battery power supply means 2, an abnormal voltage determining means 11 determining abnormality at the time when the detected voltage by the voltage detecting means 10 is the predetermined voltage or lower to output a cutoff signal to the cutoff means and a cutoff signal delaying means 12 delaying the cutoff signal until no flow rate is detected by the output signal of the flow rate detecting means at the time when the abnormal voltage determining means 11 has outputted the cutoff signal, and this device cuts off the supply of gas after the stop of use of a gas appliance without cutting it off during the use of the gas appliance at the time of detecting the condition of a voltage drop.
