<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the memory space needed for performing a calculation at the time of detecting an amount of hand shake from being increased and to perform a hand shake detection which is of correct and has a good response by a CPU which is low speed and relatively inexpensive. SOLUTION: This camera has a range-finding means (#103) measuring a distance to an object to be measured based on the output of a light receiving means receiving light from the objected to be measured, amount of hand shake detecting means (#105, #106) detecting an amount of hand shake based on the output of the light receiving means and region variable means (#105, #106) making the region of the light receiving means to be used for detecting the amount of hand shake narrower than the region of the light receiving means to be used for measuring the distance to the object to be measured.</p> |
