PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that arranges the images which are read from a photographing recording medium and then write these images into a storing recording medium. SOLUTION: This image filing device 100 is provided with a file reading part 120 which reads plural image files from plural photographing recording media, a medium series setting part 160 which detects the difference of continuity among the photographing recording media for setting the medium series that are sorted into series, a filing processing part 140 which sorts the image files in the medium series and a file writing part 190 which writes the image files recorded on the photographing recording media into a storing recording medium after the image files are sorted in the medium series.
