PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which does not stick a label to a product after recording information to the label but allows recording with excellent image quality and is excellent in durability, such as scratching resis tance of recorded parts. SOLUTION: In the image forming method for recording the variable information and fixed information, such as merchandise codes and production lot numbers, of various kinds of the products 1 as the label 7 on the products 1, an intermediate transfer medium 2 peelably provided with a receptive layer 11 on a base material 10 and a heat transfer sheet 3 provided with a heat transfer layer 14 on a base material sheet 13 are used and heat transfer images 4 are formed on the surface of the receptive layer 11 and thereafter the receptive layer 11 and the body to be transferred are superposed to come into contact with each other, by which the receptive layer 11 formed with the images 4 described above are transferred to the product 1 and may be recorded as the label 7. |
