PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and easily prevent repetitive distribution by an information distribution system which distributes contents through a communication network. SOLUTION: A request to provide contents including request source identification information and information identification information for identifying the contents is sent from a portable telephone terminal 3 to a content distribution server device 2, which transfers the request to a content supply server device 1. The content supply server device refers to a list of purchase histories in a purchase history storage part 1R and sends the result of its repetitive purchase inspection to the portable telephone terminal 3 through the content distribution server device 2. The portable telephone terminal 3 notifies the user of the portable telephone terminal 3 of repetitive purchase when the sent result of the repetitive purchase inspection indicates the repetitive purchase.
