For the production of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) boats or rotor blades of wind energy plants the fiberglass nonwovens and wovens are usually supplied by the FRP producer rolled up in rolls. The aim of the invention is to avoid the possible disadvantages, to simplify the impregnation of the fiberglass reinforced plastic and to reduce the costs for doing so. To this end, the invention provides a device for impregnating a roll (1) of plastic wovens, preferably fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) with a resin. The roll is provided with a center compartment (2) with at least one radial opening, and with means (3, 4) that seal off the roll at both ends. A feeding pipe (6) linked with the compartment is preferably also provided. |
