Tannin-containing binder liquor for use along with other binders in chip- or fiber-board production, obtained by conventional extraction of bark and then using the extract to break down waste aminoplast-bonded wood materials

Production of a tannin-containing binder liquor from tannin-containing bark and used or waste aminoplast-bonded used wood materials comprising extracting the bark with hot water in a conventional single-stage or multi-stage process and then using the extract to break down the used aminoplast-bonded wood, is new. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) using the extracted bark as a raw material for energy generation or after fermenting, as a soil improver; and (2) using the broken-down used wood material as a material for chip- or fiber-board.
