A variable stone is made of concrete and asymmetric in shape so as to form a static catenary join between stones when laid. The 12 kg stone can be handled by one man and is for use in gardens, parks, layouts and other situations such as lawn edging or flower bed enclosure. Slopes of 1:10-1.1 can be held and there planted over using the asymmetric shape to adapt to curves etc. The stone can be reinforced and used as step or tread and the stones offset to give plant openings and can be toothed or smooth as laid.
