<p>A medical information system for providing a customer with a medical information package containing a 3D representation of a hidden portion of a patient. The system comprises an order input device for the customer to order the medical information package. A facility employs an imaging apparatus for producing medical images of a patient and a first memory for storing the medical images. A central authority controls the transfer of the medical images to a presentation artist. The presentation artist employs presentation software to produce the medical information package by processing the medical images stored on the first memory into a 3D representation of the hidden portion. A second memory is employed for storing the medical information package once produced. The customer has access to the second memory for interacting with the medical information package, which is controlled by the central authority. A payment centre coordinates a transfer of funds from the customer to the presentation artist and the facility.</p> |
