PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper holder that helps constantly cut paper with one hand and easily. SOLUTION: The toilet paper holder is equipped with a hold base portion 1 having a fixed portion 2 provided with a toilet paper holder mounting portion 5, paper holding portions 3 and 4 for holding roll paper extending from both edges thereof, slider grooves 12 and 13 knurled in the insides of the roll paper holding portions and provided with irregularities 15 and 16 on the side walls, a slider fixing plate 20 narrower than the slider grooves 12 and 13 connecting two sliders 18 and 19, and engaging with the slider grooves, a projection 21 engaging with and disengaging from the irregularities, and a paper cutting portion 17 rotatable with regard to the sliders, having a cut piece 25 on one end and a braking piece 26 on the other end, the length of the braking piece from the rotating shaft to the irregular cut piece being larger than the length of the braking piece from the rotating shaft to the brake edge on the side wall sides of the slider grooves.
