PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of rice planting operation by improving loadability of preliminary seedlings and increasing the loaded amount of the preliminary seedlings. SOLUTION: A front part preliminary seedling stand 11 is attached to a midmount type sulky rice transplanter 10 equipped with a planting part 14 between a front and a rear wheels 15 and 15 in such a way that the stand can be longitudinally moved on rails 17-1, 2 whose rear sides are inclined upward along machine body frames 13-1, 2 and the front part preliminary seedling stand 11 can be locked and fixed at the front and rear side positions. When rear part preliminary seedling stands 30-1, 2 are rotatably arranged at both right and left sides of a driver's seat 10a and moved to the back of the front part preliminary seedling stand 11, the front and the rear preliminary seedling stands 11-1, 2 and 30-1, 2 are arranged in single file from left to right. In rice planting, the front and rear preliminary seedling stands 11-12 and 30-1, 2 are positioned in the circumference of the driver's seat.
