PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot supporting pin for a container lid which can always smoothly open/close the lid and keep arbitararyly the angular position to a container body, and open/stop the lid at and to provide a container thereof. SOLUTION: The pivotably supporting pin 11 of the container lid is inserted between a pivotably supporting hole 13 provided in a rear end of the lid 3 and a pivotably supporting hole 16 provided in a rear end of container body 8 to pivotably support the lid in an opening/closing manner with respect to the container body, and provided with a resin pin body 21 formed slightly smaller in diameter than the pivotably supporting hole. A large diameter portion 22 in slidable contact with the pivotably supporting hole of the lid and the pivotably supporting hole of the container body is formed on an outer circumferential surface on one end side and on the other end side in the longitudinal direction of the pin body, and a longitudinal groove 23 to elastically change the outside diameter of the pin body in a contractable manner is provided over the whole length in the longitudinal direction including the large diameter part. |
