PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminating polyester film excellent in adhesion to a metal sheet and processability, after remelting and a heat treatment as a metallic container without the deposition of oligomers and whitening, and satisfactory in respect of strengths, a laminated metallic sheet prepared by laminating the film on a metallic sheet, and a metallic container fabricated from the laminated metallic sheet. SOLUTION: Provided is a laminating polyester film comprising a polyester composition in which the carboxylic acid component essentially consists of terephthalic acid and a dimer acid in a molar ratio of (80-99)/(1-10) and the diol component comprises ethylene glycol and butanediol in a molar ratio of (30-70)/(70-30).
