PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition having improved hue and heat resistance, suitable as a molding material for moldings such as an optical disc, a sheet or transparent moldings such as a glass substitute. SOLUTION: This aromatic polycarbonate resin composition is characterized by compounding 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate which is a polycarbonate produced by a reaction between an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a compound into which a carbonate bond can be introduced and having 12,000-40,000 viscosity-average molecular weight, which has <=1,000 ppm content of a specific cyclic oligomer in which the ratio of the cyclic oligomer content to the total oligomer content satisfies a specific relation and is incorporated with 0.001-1 pt.wt. of at least one kind of an antioxidant selected from a hindered phenol compound and a phosphorus compound.
