PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solidify/block a molten polymer and to change metering pumps even in the case of the trouble of a metering pump without stopping the whole spinning positions of a spinning machine a melt spinning apparatus having plural spinning positions and a large pipe diameter. SOLUTION: This polymer block equipment for a melt spinning apparatus is arranged in the inside and/or the outside of the melt spinning apparatus and solidifies a molten polymer and blocks the flow of a polymer in a polymer channel for transporting the molten polymer. The outside of the polymer channel at a part to solidify the polymer is covered with a cooling medium channel part and a static mixer is arranged inside the polymer channel covered with the cooling medium channel part. A cooling medium is passed through the cooling medium channel part and the polymer in the polymer channel is solidified to block the polymer flow.
